Cuándo una conversación se vuelve realmente interesante?

Para mí, es cuando las vueltas de pensamiento conducen una vez más a un mundo más grande. Mis conceptos se desmoronan. Me doy cuenta de que estaba esclavizada por ideas insuficientemente examinadas. Cuando un grupo de personas, cansadas de auto felicitarse, intercambian preguntas honestas, y con paciencia y humildad tratan de aprender unas de otras, la vida se vuelve nueva otra vez.

Así me siento luego de pasar unos mágicos días en el Centro de la Fundación Rockefeller en Bellagio con un grupo de personas notables. Los milagros ocurren. Cambiemos el mundo. Podemos hacerlo solos, pero lo que podemos hacer juntos supera eso por el ancho del cielo.

How a conversation becomes truly interesting?

For me, is when thoughts increasingly lead to a bigger world. My concepts crumble. I realize I was enslaved by insufficiently examined ideas. When a group of people, weary of self-congratulation, exchange honest questions, and with patience and humility try to learn from each other, occasionally, life becomes new. 

That’s my feeling of spending these magical days at The Rockefeller Foundation Center at Bellagio with a group of remarkable individuals. Miracles happen. Let’s change the world. We can do it alone, but what we can do together exceeds that by the width of the sky.
